• Teach your child to plan ahead. Create To Do
  checklists together. A personal planner may
  prove beneficial to your child.
• Keep a family calendar in view that is constantly
  updated. Help your child budget time by going
  over commitments a week in advance.
• Assign chores that involve sorting. These could
  include putting away dishes or sorting laundry.
• Cultivate your childs interest in collecting.
  Hobbies such as stamp, coin, or rock collecting
  can build organizational skills.
• Set up a quiet study area with homework supplies
  easily accessible in handy, labeled organizers.

  color-coded tabs and folders to keep school
  papers orderly.
