4The Verification Process
- Owner receives a user ID and password 6 8 weeks
after the deed is recorded. - Owner files online / by mail / or in person.
- DMV verifies the drivers license, DOB social
security number when user clicks submit. - If all is verified, application posts to our CAMA
as completed. - If verification fails, application comes into our
CAMA as incomplete and worked by a clerk.
5What Have We Learned
- Do not use certain letters and numbers as part of
the user ID password - Lowercase l (ell) looks like an uppercase I (eye)
- Zeros look like the uppercase letter O
- Lowercase g qs are difficult to differentiate
- Do not use small font on the letter for the user
ID password. The larger the better. - Use all uppercase letters.
6Our Process if Verification is Obtained
- If the verification from DMV is approved,
- (DMV number, DOB SS)
-
- Application is completed
- Receipt is generated for owners records.

- (wrong DMV number, DOB , SS or DMV is down)
- Application is flagged as incomplete in CAMA.

processed later.
