• This is a small rural community 60Km west of
  Williams Lake. As the total school population is
  around 100, the school population devolves to 3
  classes. Primary, Intermediate and Seniors.
• This is one of the most interesting and exciting
  educational environments I have been in. When I
  was there for several days the overall theme for
  that year was Homers The Iliad..Students
  were drawing, writing stories, plays (acting them
  and making the scenery). There was painting,
  music, art, and drawing all interwoven with
  language arts, social studies and math. Like
  older siblings, the older children consolidated
  their own learning by helping younger children
  with some tasks.
• Nadene is a strong believer in the value of
  drawing as language and in the symbiosis of using
  both for mutual support and development.
