attend Crittenden or Huntington Middle School
(their zoned school) or may apply to any Middle
School Magnet Program - Current Achievable Dream 5th 7th Grade
Students Will be moved to Huntington Middle
School (to make room for additional elementary
school students at An Achievable Dream)
38Briarfield Teachers
- Will identify their top three school assignment
preferences - NNPS Human Resources and School Improvement will
work together to place all employees - NNPS will create a special process for Briarfield
employees to best meet
their needs
39Briarfield Teachers
- Will make their choices in February 2006
- Will know where their new placement will be by
May 15, 2006
40Briarfield Support Staff
- Child Nutrition Services and Custodial Services
will work with their staff to find placements
within the school system. - Human Resources will place office support staff
and nursing staff in their respective positions
or similar position where openings exist. - NNPS is committed to finding the best possible
match for staff.
41After Renovations 2007-2008
- An Achievable Dream Secondary School and
Community Center will open on the Briarfield
campus - Current K-4 students will stay in their schools
of choice - Current 5th graders will be in Crittenden,
Huntington, or a Magnet school
