Objective

• To develop and validate a design tool, which
  enables HSC designers to reach an optimal
  solution with regard to overall safety and
  lifecycle cost
• Implicitly, this tool shall enable the designers
  to assess the cost impact of varying specific
  safety parameters
• In other words safety models and cost models are
  integrated into one common tool
