Tutorials
  • Tutorials will be used to guide students through
    a variety of fraction concepts.

  • Students will make fraction problem animations
    through Movie Gear.

Real world applications
  • Using the MMs website, students will take
    recipes and double or triple the batch then make
    their recipe.

  • Technology used so maybe the unit wont be so
    boring!

What did I learn?
  • How to FTP.
  • I get confused with the new web design software.
  • I dont need to have a flashy website to present
    my information.
  • Bunches of websites on fractions.
  • Many of the sites can be applied to the real
    world.
  • Kids dont like to do all of the work with pencil
    and paper!

In the future
  • I hope to have this unit completed!
  • I hope to have the students complete most of this
    unit on the computer (or at least with very
    little pencil and paper).
  • Incorporate more real world examples as lessons.
