• Commerical companies have already started their
  services with keyword.
• In Dec. 1999, a Hangul Name WG was formed under
  Name Committee.
• Expanded into 6 sub-WGs
• - Requirements - SLD
• - Registration Policy - Protocol
• - Coordination - Testing

Internet Names Requirements

• Not locked into Korean only solution
• Encompass both DNS and keyword
• No specific encoding point
• Legacy support
• Combination of Korean, English, Chinese
• 8-bit friendly BIND

  2000.

  launched outside KRNIC.
