• Partnered with regional utility and U. of Florida
• 6,445 tons eCO2/year reduction
• Generates 2.4 MW for regional utility power grid
• Makes green power more affordable
• Smart investment by the regional utility

• From environmental hazard to economic benefit
• 1st landfill gas recovery system in the country
• Generation capacity 20MW
• Supplies power to local neighborhood
• Annual reduction of 730,000 tons GHG

• Goal was to generate energy from the landfill to
  pay for costs of gas collection system
• Success! Revenues generated through lease of
  methane to power company 15K per year
• 8,000 MW generated annually
• 55,000 tons of eCO2 prevented from entering
  atmosphere annually

• Proposed working with private investor on methane
  to energy project
• Estimated 90 Millions Tons eCO2 reduction when
  implemented
• Equivalent to taking 50,000 vehicles off the road
