GeneralConversion Features

• Conversion to LIS or over 70 different ASCII
  formats including LAS (V1.2 V2.0), and LBS.

DLIS SpecificConversion Features

• Array curves converted to either ASCII files or
  to curves in an LIS file.
• Curve descriptions from DLIS tape will be carried
  through to the output LIS or LAS files.
• Each frame in a DLIS file is converted to its own
  output file so that no fast channel data is lost
  and no slow channel data is replicated.

LIS SpecificConversion Features

• No more curves or constants named 1A, 2A, 3A
  etc.! EzTools will automatically recover the
  original names for these curves and constants.
• Fast channel curves may be decimated to the
  sample rate of the frame or sent to separate
  output files so that no values are lost.
• Automated renaming of curves and constants based
  on client supplied translation tables.
• Curve descriptions found on the LIS tape will be
  carried through to the output files.

ASCII SpecificConversion Features

• Convert any ASCII file directly to LAS or LBS.
• Convert bottom-up data to top-down or vice versa.
• Change level spacing, depth interval, or null

• Merge multiple ASCII files of various types into
  a single LAS or LBS file.

  into a single LIS tape.
• Splice curves with like names together or retain
  multiple instances of the curve.

• Supported media includes ½ 9-Track Tape, 4mm and

• Support for SCSI tape drives connected directly
  to Windows 95/98 or Windows NT systems.

• NetTape Server provides direct access to UNIX or

LIS, LAS, BITConversion to GeoShare

• Command line program supporting standard Geoshare
  Half-link options.
• Data mapping to Geoshare objects acomplished by
  the use of an external model mapping file.
  Mapping language is targeted toward the
  production of Geoshare objects and can specify
  complex transformations on the input data. This
  file can be tailored to fit specific user needs
  (including production of DLIS).
• Automatic input format type determination.
