Tiering An Example in PE
  • Skill Dribbling in basketball
  • Tier 1 Dribble from point A to B with one hand,
    switch hands and repeat, develop a new floor
    pattern (not a straight line) using either hand.

  • Tier 2 Dribble in and out of cones as quickly as
    possible using one hand, change hands and repeat,
    increase speed.
  • Tier 3 Dribble with one hand while another
    student plays defense, increase speed, trade roles
