• About 2,000 CAREER proposals in FY2003
• ENG, CISE, MPS received 400-600 each
• BIO received 250
• SBE, GEO, EHR, OPP received gt300 (total)
• GEO 92 (4.5 of the total) may be a function
  of more faculty in graduate research environments
  with little undergraduate teaching responsibility
• Success rate 20 in 02
