  left.
• How are the grades distributed?
• To answer this question we need to construct a
  Frequency Table or a Histogram.

  frequencies of non-overlapping groups
• Frequency Distribution and Histogram are
  alternative means to present Dispersion and Shape
  of data.
• Histogram is graphical display of frequency
  distribution in the form of column chart.

• Relative Frequency is the fraction of the
  group-frequency to the total number of
  observations
• Cumulative Frequency is the frequency that is the
  total of relative frequencies up to the specified
  group (including).

Creating a Histogram (on Excel)

• 1. Enter data in a column
• 2. Create an Upper Limit column
• 3. Select Tools/Data Analysis/ Histogram
• 4. Check Labels and
• 5. Check Chart Output
• 6. For Bin Range enter the range for upper
  limit (you created, including label)
• 7. For Input Range Enter the Data Range
  (including Label)
• 8. For Output Range select one cell with enough
  blank space around it
• 9. Click OK

• Analyze/ Descriptive Statistics/ Frequencies
• Select the variable move to the right pane
• (frequency table select/no-select )
• Select Charts, check Histogram, With normal
  curve.
• Continue / Ok
