  • House prices in Bath rose by 113 between 2000
    and 2005
  • Bath has a house price to earnings ratio of 8.5
    compared to a national average of 6.4
  • There is a lack of affordable housing
  • Bath requires 314 affordable housing units each
    year only 692 were built between 1998 and 2006

  • Twerton West and Whiteway are within the top 20
    of the most deprived areas in the country
