  • The golden ratio is 11.6(0.61) so the Triumphal
    Arch is not the golden ratio
  • But it is the partial golden ratio

  • Solve x which satisfy 1-x x x 1
  • i.e. x2 1(1-x) is  a segment AB is
    divided by golden ratio with P
  • Therefore 0.61 or 11.6 is the golden ratio
