• Accelerate Online Minimum Qualifications
• 3.0 GPR on advanced degree
• OR
• 2.5 GPR in baccalaureate work attempted
• OR
• 2.75 GPR in the last 60 hours of baccalaureate
  degree

• Accelerate Online Content Requirements
• Single Subject Area
• GPR of 2.5 in 24 hours of specific content
  specialization
• Note 12 of the 24 hours must be upper division
• Advanced placement and credit by exam courses can
  be used to meet content requirements if noted on
  college transcript

• Accelerate Online Content Requirements
• Composite Subject Area
• GPR of 2.5 in 36 semester hours of specific
  content specialization including at least 3
  hours in all sub-areas (life science, chemistry,
  physics, and geology)
• Advanced placement and credit by exam courses
  can be used to meet content requirements if noted
  on college transcript.

• Additional Admission Requirements
• Pass or be exempt from TASP
• Pass the TExES exam in the appropriate content
  area
• Have access to an internet capable computer
• Pass a background check
• Provide at least 3 letters of recommendation
• Demonstrate verbal fluency with English in an
  personal interview with program staff

  paid an entry-level teacher salary
• Two semesters in length
• Internship workshop prior to beginning teaching
