• A few ideas to help you to learn.

Plan your time

• Make a study plan and stick to it.
• Work in short bursts rather than long sessions
• Dont leave revision to the last minute. An hour
  a week through the term will save hours.

Arrange your space

• Make sure your books and folders are organised
  and up to date.
• Find a private space to work
• Use music (without words) as background.

Relax!

• Take some time out for activity and rest.

Find your style

• People learn in different ways.
• Find the style that suits you it may not be the
  one your teacher advises.
• Try different methods to see which works

Listening tips

• Make tapes of yourself to learn from.
• Get your family to test you.
• Say things aloud as you read
• Make up rhymes and songs.

Writing tips

• Copy, if it helps. Notes are better
• Make revision cards.
• Read work, turn the book over and write what you
  remember.

• Write key words with your hand in air.
• Repeat key words as you jog or dance.
• Listen to a tape on a walkman as you go shopping.

• Use colours in your notes. Draw coloured diagrams
• Make posters and diagrams for your walls
• Use post-it notes around your house.
