Setting Up Chart Of Accounts

• A standard chart of accounts comes installed with
  the software.
• The standard system of accounts classifies
  accounts into variable and fixed line haul
  categories along with shop and administrative
  expenses that assist you in managing the trucking
  companies operations.

Making Journal Entries

• A few accrual accounting entries such as
  depreciation can be recorded directly into the
  accounting systems from this general journal
  entry screen.

Reviewing General Ledger Entries

• All transactions entered into the system can be
  queried a number of ways to preview, find, delete
  or update any entries made into the general
  ledger system before financial statement
  preparation.

Quick Check Writing

• The general ledger system contains a quick check
  writing feature that enters cash disbursements
  directly into the general ledger system without
  going through one or more of the modules.

Utilities

• From the utilities menu a number of editing
  features are available to keep accounts in
  balance.
• In addition transactional information can be
  exported to an accountants office for assistance
  in monthly preparation of financial statements.

Closing Entry

• Depending upon the selected year end of the
  entity accounting records can be closed out on a
  yearly basis.
• After close out all income and expenses are reset
  to zero for the accumulation of new transactions
  for the next year.

• From the general ledger reports menu, all the
  necessary financial statements and reports
  necessary to manage the company can be prepared
  from the reports menu.
