Warming up
  • Why do we warm-up?
  • Helps reduce the risk of injury
  • Prepares the body for exercise
  • How do we warm-up?
  • Raise the bodys temperature/pulse rate
  • Stretch the muscles

Cooling-down
  • Why do we cool-down?
  • Aids the body recovery
  • Helps disperse any lactic acid in order to reduce
    next day stiffness
  • How do we cool-down?
  • Lower the temperature/pulse rate
  • Light stretching
