• Design Summary/Questions? for AO Alignment
  Optics February 28th 2007
• Designed AO Alignment Optics to have same
  interface and registration as Fore Optics
• Plates used in design have NOT been weight
  relieved, probably not necessary?
• INSIDE Dimension between the 2 Purple Gussets is
  exactly 250 mm
• Dimension from AO Surface to Top of Horizontal
  Plate is 100 mm
• Dimension from Top of Horizontal Plate to Center
  of Optical Axis is 150 mm
• Hardware has been standardized to M6 x 25 mm for
  most bolts
• Purple Gussets are ½ inch thick Horizontal Plate
  is ¾ inch thick Green Plate is ¾ thick
• Detail Drawings have not been made at this time,
  waiting for approval of this design
• All parts pictured in slides are NEW!
• 3x M6 Tapped holes added to Horizontal Plate as
  per instructions in PowerPoint sent
• This assembly must be used with the 25 mm thick
  spacer (not shown)
• Utility holes needed?
• Any other comments/additions?
