The Common Induction Standards
  • The structure, content and process of the
    standards have been reviewed
  • A longer induction period of a maximum of 12
    weeks
  • No Foundation
  • Notion of common induction standards as a
    minimum for employees

  • Links to NVQs and GSCC codes
  • Induction for all workers involved directly in
    adult social care
  • Separate set of standards for managers to be
    produced
  • Externally accredited programmes may assist parts
    of induction

    responsibility for sign off
  • All workers new to the sector to do full
    induction
  • Workers with relevant qualification or previous
    induction need only complete workplace specific
    standardsthe manger to determine

  • Revision has developed standards, managers and
