- Two years of Cancer Registry experience or
- Completion of an NCRA-approved college-level
curriculum in Cancer Registry/cancer data and
management or

40Ways To Maintain Your Credential
- To maintain a certified status a person must
- Meet current continuing education requirements of
NCRA. - In order to retain the CTR credential, a CTR must
submit 20 continuing education hours to NCRA
every two years - NCRA's online Case Scenarios are a fast and
convenient way to earn additional CE Hours while
brushing up on your abstracting techniques. - Submit the applicable continuing education
maintenance fee on an annual basis.
