Purpose of project

• Help states use their TANF administrative data
  for program management and performance
  measurement
• Work with states to develop a set of indicators,
  and a software tool for reporting and tracking
  the indicators

• Content working group developed indicators
• IT working group worked on issues of software
  development

Current Status

• 20 indicators have been developed
• Templates of indicators developed and sent out on
  list-serve January 2004
• Software development underway
• 5-8 indicators in first prototype
• Pilot state selected
• Massachusetts
