• A Letter of Invitation is sent to each partner
• Partner invited for a special session
• Identify providers and partner respective roles
• His contribution is appreciated
• An advisor will be waiting for him
• Pregnant women and their partners receive FP,
  HIV, ante-natal and post-partum counseling

Conclusions

• Once male partners are involved, they stay AND
  return for following sessions
• Male involvement has a positive impact on the use
  of RH services
• Involving male partners costs next to nothing

• Which mission for male involved in HIV/AIDS
  services? Which support do they need?
• How can we better use HIV/AIDS financing to
  reinforce partners role in RH programs in Rwanda?
