Marksman- The Name

• The word Marksman stand for a Skilled Shot that
  means it hits the target/goal adroitly.
• The name signifies with the thought and
  philosophy of the organization.

Organizational Philosophy

• Marksman Welfare Society (MFS) believes that the
  elements of development and the resources
  requires to develop a society lies in the
  society. The need is to identify those, mobilize
  them and facilitate with opportunities to
  prosper.

• To establish a just society based on the value
  of equality, justice, democracy and brotherhood
  where no one remains hungry, illiterate,
  exploited, homeless and deprived from fundamental
  rights.

• Through effective presence with the poor and
  marginalized accompanying them as they empower
  themselves and affirm their dignity leading to
  fullness of life.

OBJECTIVES

• To work for the eradication of poverty,
  inequality, exploitation, illiteracy, and
  unhealthy environment.
• To promote entrepreneurship development for
  youths and work ensuring optimum utilization of
  the available human, natural and institutional
  resources.
• To create opportunities for growth and
  self-reliance.
• To facilitate and promote health and hygiene,
  specific to maternal and child health care.
• To promote qualitative and vocational education
  in order to eradicate illiteracy and ignorance.

• Focus in Bihar and Jharkhand
• 13 blocks of 4 districts in Jharkhand and
• One district in Bihar

TARGET POPULATION

• Women, Rural artisans, children and adolescents,
  young people, SC/ST, labourers and especial
  concern to child labours.
