What is the Reach Texas Offering?

• The annual state missions and ministry offering
  of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
• A great way for your church to participate in the
  Great Commission strategy for Texas.
• A way to reach more people for Christ!

Reach Texas Offering Facts

• Statewide Goal 1 million
• The offering year is September through August
  (i.e., the 2005-2006 offering will be received
  Sept. 1, 2005 through August 31, 2006).
• Key Point Offering receipts allow the SBTC to go
  above and beyond the regular Cooperative Program
  budget for missions and evangelism.
• 0 of the offering is used for administrative
  costs!

When should our church emphasize the Offering?

• Anytime you want! The materials are not dated
  except to reflect the offering year (e.g.,
  2005-2006).
• There is a designated week of prayer on the SBTC
  calendar for the 2005-2006 offering September
  18-25, 2005. Many churches will emphasize Reach
  Texas at that time.
• Many other churches take an annual missions
  offering that is allocated to different missions
  causes. Please consider making Reach Texas a
  part of the emphasis in your church.
