• The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS is the
  nation's largest professional association. With
  over 1.3 million members the Association is
  committed to preserving, protecting and promoting
  the free enterprise system and the right to own
  real property, which is the foundation of
  America. Working in partnership with Congress and
  the Administration, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of
  REALTORS provides a platform of advocacy on
  behalf of REALTORS and the public to create a
  favorable environment for real estate, the
  housing industry, and American families

• The Charleston Trident Association of
  REALTORS has over 4,500 members, and serves
  Berkeley, Dorchester and Charleston Counties, as
  well as other outlying areas and municipalities.
• Our Mission By promoting the highest standards
  of Professionalism, Ethics, Education, and
  Technology, the Association will ensure that the
  REALTOR members are the primary source for real
  estate services in the South Carolina Lowcountry.

CTAR Working for You

• CTAR provided candidate screening and recommended
  politicians who support REALTOR interests in the
  Lowcountry.
• Candidates CTAR recommended or found to be
  qualified won 24 of 26 races in 2006.

• Supported the ½ cent sales tax to provide better
  roads and protect greenspace.
• Supported candidates promoting smart growth
  principles.
