Mrs. Smiths class is listening to what the
objective will be for the morning lesson! We are
going to learn about spring.

First, we used our class microphone to tell
something we know about spring.

Mrs. Wright, our technology integration teacher,
typed all of our ideas using the software
program, Kidspiration.

Today we are going to do a WebQuest. Mrs. Smith
read the title of the WebQuest and the
introduction.

A WebQuest is a special learning activity.
During this activity we will read, analyze, and
synthesize information using the World Wide Web.
We had to listen carefully for information about
spring.

Sometimes we showed answers to questions with our
thumbs.

Students took turns reading each new page. Isnt
it cool how we used the laptop and projection
device so we could all read?

After completing the WebQuest, Mrs. Smith took us
to the lab to meet with Mrs. Gue, our technology
resource teacher.

In the lab, we opened the Pixie software program
to draw and write about spring.

We used the drawing tools to illustrate what we
learned about spring.

Then, we used the text tools to write a sentence
to match our illustration.
