  • If there is a mistake, let me know
  • If 2 courses are listed for something, then you
    may choose
  • If you disagree with a recommendation, see your
    teacher and complete a form

  • You must register for 6.5 credits.(6.5 plus study
    hall or 7.0 without a study hall)
  • You must earn 4.5 credits to be in 10th grade.
  • CTC students must pass everything or take it in
    summer school or Distance Learning if you fail
  • Schedule changes are very hard to doplease be
    very careful when making your selections.
  • You must complete the activity requirement in
    order to graduate.

  • See guidance counselor to make sure you are
    taking NCAA-approved courses.

College-bound students
  • Make sure you take challenging courses
  • Consider some Honors courses and think about
    taking some AP courses in 11th grade
  • You need at least 2 years of a language (the same
    language) to go to most 4 year colleges.
  • Look at college catalogs or online to make sure
    the courses you pick are appropriate

CTC Students
  • Make sure you have fulfilled your computer,
    health and phys. ed credits
  • You must pass all your major academic courses.
  • Sign up for English 10, World Cultures, Math,
    Science and Phys. Ed. As well as the program you
    want at CTC.

  • If you havent turned in your orange application
    form, please do so tomorrow!
  • There is still time, but you need to apply soon
    so you dont lose your spot.
  • Even if youre not sure, still sign up, can
    always decide not to go in the summer. Just call
    or email Ms. Weigle.

Selecting Courses
  • Choose the appropriate coursesin most cases, the
    teacher recommendations are what you should take.
  • Choose electives based on what pathway (pg. 7
    8) you wish to follow and what your interests are
  • Choose courses that will challenge you

  • What courses do you need to get in to the
    college/trade school of your dreams?
  • What are your future goals?

    book to see if youve taken prerequisites for
    certain courses
  • There are 2 levels of World Cultures, 1 and 2.

    teaching it this year doesnt mean they will next
    year!)
