Scheduling Exceptions
  • Spring Internship schedules allowed the week
before start of full-time recruiting. For
2002-03, spring Intern schedules 9/30-10/4 (avoid
    Tuesdays Thursdays)
  • Make exception for Goldman Sachs and do full-time
interviews (always a CLOSED schedule from Prof.
Klemkoskys I-Banking Workshop) in late September
    (avoid Tuesdays Thursdays)
  • ALWAYS ask firm, From where do you source names
for Preference List? (Good intro to Fairs, WRB,
    eInfo, POOPS, etc.)
  • Currently, we do not schedule summer Intern
    interviews in October/November. Will do
Accounting in December and then the rest in
    spring.

10
Student Issues for Companies
  • Times Not Available will affect ability to get on
schedule (Student Selection Menu on Internal
    Report Center)
  • Must bid even if preferenced
  • All info self-reported by students except
    citizenship
  • KSB students required to take X220/X420. Other IU
students can use BPO if they take X420
  • Will let December grads use BPO in spring. Alumni
traditionally not served by BPO (but they can
    view contact info)
