• Injury to the spinal cord
• Sudden stoppage of heart due to vasovagal
  inhibition
• Mechanical constriction of the neck, I,e.
• Occlusion of the airway ( Asphyxia)
• Occlusion of Jugular system ( Congestive hypoxia)
• Occlusion of the carotid arteries ( cerebral
