Other Stats - Performance Report

• First annual end June 2006
• Sea Cadet population dropped from 18.9 to 17.7
  of the overall cadet population
• Sea Cadet use of resources is 3.5 greater than
  the population allows
• Reduced by .5 so far this year by new
  calculation for transport costs
• Summer 2005 Sea cadets summer camp plan exceed
  share by 1.8
• 1981 to 2005 Cadet population grew from 1.7 to
  1.9 of the available Canadian population

NAMING CORPS

• Process underway but proposal not sufficiently
  developed to present to Sea Cadet Committee for
  consideration
• Using CMS staff Traditions and Heritage Graham
  Arbuckle to assist
• Looking at RCN ships WW2 and immediate post war
  era
• Should we also be looking at Navy League corps
  and should it be a common process?

MUSIC AWARDS

• National Award Division Award criteria the same
• Win division award (if none then not compete)
• Member of SC band drum bugle, brass reed,
  pipes drum or any combination
• Obtained minimum level IV
• Leadership, dedication, contribution etc
• Selection Committee Procedures to be finalized
