  original AAPG initiative (which Petroconsultants
  agreed to provide in 1996)
• Input from participants included a request from
  an operator to see a formal, official declaration
  of service provision outlining the increased
  service/improvements in cooperation with the GUWI
  initiative.

Next steps

• Operational Steering Team
• Made up of companies that sign the Letter of
  Intent
• Issue and manage the RFP process
• Plan and seek approval for business plan,
  including issues of funding, governance
  development / deployment
• Complete service provider selection
• Work with POSC to establish legal framework for
  Well Identity Service Work Group including
  funding and service agreements, governance and
  operational procedures
• Plan and execute launch
