OGSRs Goal for Diversity
  • To ensure that students from traditionally
    underrepresented groups are included in outreach
    efforts, are provided with information about
    application to graduate study at UCSD, and are
    treated equitably in the admissions process
  • To increase the diversity of graduate program
    applicant pools
  • To support the Chancellors Commitment to
    Diversity on campus
  • To support the campus Chief Diversity Officers
    efforts to diversify the faculty

  • Connect applicants with current students for
    student to student information
  • Include faculty members
  • Place emphasis on schools with larger populations
    of URM prospective students
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
