• Project accounting

• Implement config file modification to allow
  saving of queries in ssl environment.

Miser/Matrix

• Move off matrix to mms.
• Save 20,000 annually in license
• Matrix does not support kerberized ftp, thus, we
  must leave non kerberized ftp ports open for its
  use.
• Is not certified with Solaris 2.9
• Upgrading matrix requires upgrading the operating
  systems of h1 g1.
• Current version does not run on xp without a
  kluge
• Upgrading to the next version is a major project
• Other experiment projects would be impacted by
  this upgrade

• Most project accounting modifications have been
  completed
• Lower priority modifications will be handled
  after project accounting is implemented April 1st

• Node registration rewrite. To begin again after
  project accounting is implemented. 6-8 month
  project.

Sysadmindb

• tracking and handling of mac addresses
• 1. modify the sysadmin registration to
  authenticate changes. the request queue is piling
  up.
• 2. rewrite of node registration needs to require
  a sysadmin.
• 3. require registration of mac address for all
  users before getting access to network. would
  like equipdb to store this data.
