• Hirum came up with a list of job interests
• discussed the options with teachers, parents and
  friends
• applied for a job and,
• Obtained an interview with a potential
  employer!!!

Hirum realized he needed to RELAXand develop a
plan.

Hirum created a To Do List

• Make a hair salon appointment.
• Pick out your outfit and ensure that it is dry
  cleaned or pressed.
• Obtain directions
• Have a schedule for the day of the interview.

• Develop a list of questions and answers.
• Practice you answers in front of a mirror or
  video camera.
• Ask someone to question you in a mock interview

Hirum kept busy before the interview

• Learning some facts about the company
• Preparing to ask questions
• He began the Thank You letter prior to the
  interview.

• He got plenty of rest the night before the
  interview.
• He ate a good breakfast and left plenty of time
  for travel on the day of the interview.
