  • Project a professional imageno matter what.
  • Hiring manager will make a decision within first
    10 seconds. 1st impressions are so important.
  • Be enthusiastic and confident. Body language.
    Smile.
  • Dont ask whats in it for me questions.
  • Focus on the employers needs. Not yours.
  • Dont be a generalist. Match the job
    description!
  • Must sell yourself. Toot your own horn.
  • Good exit. Express interest. What are next

    describe a few situations, use them.

    groups, websites. (beware of energy drainers!)

    it online.
  • Follow up with an email of the same resume and a
    phone call.
  • Go to Networking meetings.

    God has a plan that we cant be blind to.

  • Your employed friends and family will know the
    possible job openings at their company before the
    public does.
  • Network with all family, neighbors, parents,
    church family, etc. Old clients, old supervisors,
    Alumni associations, Industry associations.
  • Email everyone your resume and ask for advice.

  • Set goals each day. Communicate them to someone.

    interested in their world!
