THE MUON DETECTION SYSTEM FOR THE CBM EXPERIMENT
AT FAIR/GSI A. Kiseleva1,2, E. Kryshen2, and
M. Ryzhinskiy3 1 GSI, Darmstadt, Germany 2
Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, Gatchina,
Russia 3 SPbSPU, Sankt-Petersburg, Russia
The Compressed Baryonic Matter (CBM) experiment
is designed to study the properties of hot and
dense strongly interacting matter as created in
high-energy nucleus-nucleus collisions at the
future international Facility of Antiproton and
Ion Research (FAIR) in Darmstadt.
