- Secure your degree place (very important for
students starting a concurrent degree) - To maintain your place in a program you must
enrol annually under that program. If studying
two degrees ensure you have enrolment under both
degrees (or have approved leave) otherwise you
will lose your place in one or both degrees.
7Proposed changes to degree structure
- The proposed changes to your degree have been
delayed. - The delay means the Study Plans in the Commerce
and Economics Handbook are incorrect for Year 2
and Year 3. - Year 1 students - follow the study plans in your

- Very flexible structure for generic only 4
compulsory courses - BCom students may choose the following pathways

- You dont have to decide on your pathway until
second year UNLESS there is any possibility you
want to study Accounting. Follow the Accounting

interested in Accounting.

23Time structure
- All classes start at ten minutes past the hour
- Full-time students have 12-14 hours per week
