Classroom Procedures

• Enter classroom and get ready for the class
  period. (sharpen pencil, turn in homework, etc)
• When bell rings you should be in your seat.
• You are dismissed at the end of the period when I
  dismiss you.

Classroom Rules

• Arrive to class on time
• Raise your hand
• Stay in your seat, unless asked or given
  permission to get up.
• RESPECT
• Respect yourself, your fellow classmates, and the
  teacher.

Consequences for not following the rules

• 1st offense Verbal warning
• 2nd offense Detention
• 3rd offence Parent will be contacted
• 4th offense Office referral
• You are here to learn!!

Grades

• Your grade will be calculated by total points
  possible / total points earned.
• 100 - 90 A
• 89 - 80 B
• 79 - 70 C
• 69 - 60 D
• 59 and below F

Participation

  quarter.

Tests

• Tests will be given every several weeks to check
  on the progress being made in class.
• The test will be worth 100 points.
• We will play review games to prepare for tests.

Homework

• Over to your left, there is an inbox for
  homework. Before the bell rings your homework
  should be in that box.
• Homework will not be accepted late.

Quizzes

• You can expect to have one quiz per week usually
  taking place on a Friday.

In Class Assignments

• You will be expected to also complete in class
  assignments. These will also be worth anywhere
  from 10-20 points.

Projects

• You will have one big assignment per nine weeks.
  The majority of the work for the projects will be
  completed using class time. I expect you to use
  your time wisely and will watch to see who is
  spending their time like they should be.
• The assignments will be equal to one test grade
  100 points.

Computer Use

• Please follow all school rules for computer
  usage.
• If I even suspect you are using the computer in
  an inappropriate manner or you are trying to
  damage or ruin the computer, you will lose your
  privileges in this classroom.

Extra Credit

• Current Event every Friday.
• Worth 4 extra points each week.

  or your parents/guardians have a question about
  something going on in class feel free to email me
  and I will try to respond as quickly as possible.

• All homework will be posted on fundingfactory,
  which can be accessed through the cardinal site.
  www.cardinal.k12.oh.us. You will then click on
  the middle school link, then 7th grade, then
  Social Studies

Materials

• -Folder, notebook, paper, pen or pencil
• -Books should be covered at all times. You are
  responsible for lost or damaged books.

Sign and Return

• Please sign and return agreement by Wednesday.
• If you return tomorrow I will give you 5 extra
  points towards the first quarter.
