5The Current problem to be solved
- We have no margin for error in AIS, however some
errors can be found in our products sometimes - Audit report by the administrative management
agency pointed out same problem -
- The Quality of Aeronautical information should
be improved - The number of publication of AIP AMDT/SUP has
increased by two times over for 10 years -
- The number of staff has not been increased,
Chronic busy -
- The system to publish AIP AMDT/SUP should be
reinforced - Global transition to new CNS/ATM environment are
in progress -
- Global re-design of airspace and air-route are
in progress -
- Increasing aeronautical information,
Inconsistencies are occurring among the countries

a) when developing ATM requirements, define
corresponding requirements for safe and efficient
global aeronautical information management that
would support a digital, real-time, accredited
and secure aeronautical information environment
b) urgently adopt a common aeronautical
information exchange model, taking into account
operational systems or concepts of data
interchange, including specifically, AICM/AIXM,
and their mutual interpretabilities
c) develop, as a matter of urgency, new
specifications for Annexes 4 and 15 that would
govern provision, electronic storage, on-line
access to and maintenance of aeronautical
information and charts.
