Title: Web of Knowledge
1Web of Knowledge
- Tracking a good article
- Who else has used this paper?
2Cited reference searching
- Unlike most other databases, the cited
reference list of each article is included in
all Web of Science records, and this enables a
number of valuable and unique search functions
associated with the linkage between citing and
cited articles. - Navigate backwards in time by linking directly
from an article record to its cited reference
list. - Navigate forwards in time by identifying the
articles which have cited an article since it
was written. - Directly search, using information about a given
paper, in order to identify more recent papers
that have cited it. - Directly search on a particular author to
identify the citation impact of all their
publications.
