Dodson-Warrendale Debris Flow Acquisition
Project HMGP DR-1099. As a result of the heavy
rainfall associated with the February 1996 major
disaster declaration, a series of rapidly moving
landslides (debris flows) impacted a number of
homes in the unincorporated community of
Dodson-Warrendale in East Multnomah County. This
project involved the acquisition of six homes,
their demolition and restoration of the sites to
open space. Municipal water lines and/or wells
leading to the homes required decommissioning in
addition to septic systems.
