NETC Vision for the Erate Funding
- to improve educational services and increase
student achievement by addressing several
fundamental challenges highlighted by consortium
member districts. In support of this Vision,
E-rate funding can be used to provide - A Video Solution that offers interactive
digitally delivered education to students. The
proposed solution should complement the NETC
strategic vision and will facilitate
inter-district interactive video education to
address teacher shortages and curriculum delivery
shortfalls. - Provide equal access to college preparatory
coursework (e.g. advanced placement courses
offered by K-12 member districts). - Bolster teacher collaboration and development to
deliver more effective classroom training over
distances. - Leverage video solution to improve staff
productivity by conducting meetings and training
without travel - Additional network drops in classrooms
- Wireless networking
- Network backbone equipment
