• Russian ASSITEJ united many interesting and
  talented people of that time.
• They accumulated a large part of the knowledge of
  Russian theatre for children and gladly shared it
  with our colleagues from abroad. They felt that
  their experience caused serious interest, and
  tried to showcase the best of what they had.
  Likewise, they were able to discover foreign
  practices in theatre for children and had a
  chance to reflect upon them (which later on
  allowed them to say that the Russian theatre, of
  course, was a way better!).
• Many things were done for the first time ever,
  and in some ways, we were trailbreakers.
• It is exactly now that I realize that everyone
  who was part of that, including myself, was
  indeed fortunate!
