2. Examples of Kodak Product Related Achievements
  • Have recycled over 800,000,000 single-use cameras
    since their introduction in 1987. Recycled
    content (by weight) is over 90. Nothing in the
    camera is landfilled.
  • Average digital camera weight has dropped from
    over 15 ounces (1998) to less than 6 ounces
    (2006).
  • Cyan dye track (silver ) reduced Hollywood water
    consumption by 8 millions gallons reduced
    chemical usage by 150,000 lbs.
  • Kodak Thermal Direct non-process plates require
    less water and less electricity consumption.
    Other advantages include decreased chemical
    storage/handling and elimination of spent
    developer disposal costs.
