Learning phonics is an ongoing process. It is
ONE of the skills required in fluent reading.

• Aim for 4 Readers per month.
• Parents encouraged to read at home with
  students.
• Taught reading skills
• Whole class reading, phonics practice, story
  prediction, word meanings
