  • What is Partners in Grain (PinG)?
  • It is a national GRDC funded project,
    facilitating professional development
    opportunities for all partners in grain
    businesses.

Structure
  • National Reference Group
  • National Chair/Project Manager
  • State Reference Groups
  • Coordinator in each state (1 day/wk)
  • Volunteer State Chair and reference group
  • - Key people from Industry

Reference Groups
  • May consist of farm women, young people in the
    Grains Industry, professionals, consultants and
    training deliverers.

Volunteers
  • State Reference Group members and Co-ordinators
    volunteer an enormous amount of their time to
    ensure the success of the project.
  • This time is rewarded through the provision of
    professional development opportunities for the
    reference group

SA Activities
  • Lyn Sykes succession planning workshops
  • Facilitated self learning groups of young women
    in Bute and Hilltown and Minlaton
  • Risk awareness sessions (NLP funded)
  • Facilitation with group to identify learning
    priorities
  • EziGrain
  • Bus Trip to Waite combining groups across the
    state
  • In SA also work with AICD assisting with their
    regional courses
  • Mentor others to participate in Industry events
    ,eg International Rural Womens Congress, AWB
    womens tour, Grains Week, BRI Leadership
