Site 8points Credit1 Building reclaimed an
abandoned urban infill site. Credit 5.1 restored
more than 50 of site area with
vegetation. Credit 5.2 maximized open space and
reduced the developed footprint. Credit 7.1
parking lot is located underground, reducing heat
island effect. Credit 7.2 used white coating
roofing with Solar Reflectance Index(SRI) 100.
Water Efficiency 5points Credit 1.1
Rainwater and graywater is collected for
landscaping and flushing. Credit 1.2 There is no
potable water use for irrigation. Credit 2 used
low-flow toilets, low-flow kitchen sink and
low-flow shower in order to reduce water
use. Energy Atmosphere 2-8points Credit
1.1-1.5 To increase energy performance and
reduce heating and electricity demand, we used
daylight, natural ventilation for residences,
solar heating, and lighting control systems
(vacancy sensor). Materials Resources
3points Credit 2.1 Reused 50 waste (bricks)
from the demolished building. Credit 5.1
Purchased building materials from within 500
miles of Montreal.
