What is Milwaukee Sting?
  • Non-profit (501-C), tax-exempt organization in WI
    that develops and promotes girls volleyball.

  • In the 2008 season we will be offering 20 girls
    teams

How do I become a member of Milwaukee Sting?

    to any tryout you should discuss with your
    daughter the different possibilities.

Badger Region Tryout Rules
  • First tryout date cannot be
    before November 10th.
  • NEW in 2007 Two commitment
    dates
  • November 15th If an offer is given and not
    accepted by 900 pm on the 15th the club can pull
    this offer from the player
  • November 19th All offers that have not been
    accepted can by pulled if not accepted by 600 pm
    on the 19th.

  • Dues vary from 900 - 1,250 and include the

Payment Schedules
  • Payment of dues are scheduled as follows
  • Half upon acceptance of offer
  • Remaining billed monthly
  • All other expenses are estimated for the season
    and divided on a monthly basis. Each team will
    be provided with a monthly payment schedule. Any
    overpayments will be returned at year end.

  • Junior Volleyball Directors Association (JVDA) is
    a national association
  • JVDA Platform
  • Lower the cost of club volleyball participation
  • Grow volleyball participants by developing and
    promoting programs for Youth
  • Develop Intra-Regional Competition across the

  • Act as a lobby for Junior Volleyball Issues
  • A bulk of the Open level clubs participating.

Planned Enhancements to the Sting Program!!!!
  • New Full Time Club Director
  • Oversee entire club while ensuring short and long
    term goals are met
  • Will be an expert coach to assist in the
    further development of current staff
  • Will ensure uniform training of all athletes
  • Oversee all athletes to ensure they are being
    trained at the highest level possible

  • Dedicated Practice Facility
  • Plan on being in a building by the end of the
    season
  • Will allow for additional strength and quickness
    training
  • All teams will be able to practice under one roof
