  • Possible changes to prerequisites.
  • Implementation goal is April 2009.
  • Major test question rewrite based on CMBOK Rev. 3

Contract Management Leadership Development
Program (CMLDP)

    World Congress 2009 in Long Beach.
  • Applications for 2009-10 class due by February
    20th.
  • Class begins July 2009.
  • Program is free to students.
  • Employer/chapter/individual provides funding for
    travel to 4 events.

    Elections Committee.
  • Call for interest on February 1st.
  • Committee develops a slate.
  • Ballot issued March 15th.
  • Members vote.
  • Voting closes by March 31st.
  • Four (4) Board members to be elected.
  • Three-year terms.

NCMA Logo Redesign
  • NCMAs logo was adopted in 1961.
  • Target membership was the defense industry.
  • As part of our 50th anniversary preparations, we
    evaluated our logo as well as alternatives.
  • Multiple focus groups and customer interviews.
  • Found that
  • The logo needs to be refreshed and updated
  • Members would like an element of the current logo
    to be maintained in the future logo
  • We should remove the pentagon from the logo.
